Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $72,200.00 - $108,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Cox Automotive is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to join our team that will be responsible for providing information, insights, and analyses regarding the products in the Cox Automotive Manheim Logistics group, including standard reporting and monitoring of the health of the business, ad-hoc analyses of site projects, tests, and proactive identification of actionable optimization opportunities.
This position interacts with a variety of teams to understand business needs and provide information in support of business decisions. The insights provided by this individual would be used to make informed prioritizations, and data-driven decisions regarding the optimization of existing products, as well as the development of new business opportunities. The Business Intelligence Analyst is expected to perform these duties with minimal daily oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights that support business growth and optimization.
- Partner with analytics leads on initiatives and projects; review and present results to internal stakeholders.
- Utilize AI tools for descriptive data exploration, trend detection, anomaly identification, and accelerated SQL query development.
- Monitor the health of Manheim Logistics’ online environments and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance AI-driven processes for accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
- Develop and maintain standard reports and dashboards, providing KPI insights through automated visualization techniques.
- Validate data accuracy across reporting systems and ensure alignment with business definitions.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of digital analytics data capture, systems, and tools.
- Assist with ad-hoc analyses, requirements gathering, and AB testing plans; perform basic test measurement and analysis.
- Communicate analytical concepts clearly to internal audiences; contribute to stakeholder education.
- Stay current on market trends and emerging AI technologies relevant to analytics and business intelligence.
- Work independently and collaboratively to prioritize tasks and deliver against business goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2+ years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 14 years’ experience in a related field
- 2+ years in an analytics/statistics-focused role or a digital analytics position.
- Strong ability to analyze and synthesize large data sets using foundational mathematical and statistical principles.
- Proficiency in SQL, with experience accelerating query development using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Snowflake Cortex, GitHub Copilot).
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate).
- Experience with digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Foundational Excel skills, including formulas and trend chart development.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Athena, Netezza, Redshift) and basic statistical testing.
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted tools for data validation, visualization, and storytelling (e.g., M365 Copilot, Tableau Pulse, Snowflake Cortex).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present analytical findings clearly to stakeholders.

- Proactive, self-motivated approach with intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results independently and collaboratively.
