Business Intelligence Analyst

My Role:

  • Support business improvement initiatives predominantly in the areas of Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report – focusing on process automation and management reporting
  • Supporting Business improvement opportunities through process mapping, reviewing, downloading, cleaning, transforming and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, suggesting conclusions and supporting proposals and decisions
  • Participating the projects execution and follow-up
  • Supporting GBS reporting, suggesting improvement and re-design – via delivery of agreed regular reports, ad-hoc reports and analysis and definition of new reporting sets that best suit the needs of stakeholders and end to end process visibility.
  • Optimization of the way and tools for reporting in GBS is done and shared, how it supports making business decisions.
  • Execution of GBS automation initiatives – working with Operations teams on process mapping, waste identification, opportunities to standardize and support them with process automations
  • Supporting FP&A processes by retrospective and predictive analysis.

My Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (R)
  • 2–3 years of experience in data analysis or a related discipline
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (R)
  • Strong understanding of visualization best practices and the ability to design clear, actionable dashboards for business stakeholders (R)
  • Hands-on experience with analytical and reporting tools, such as Power BI, Alteryx, and Tableau, including creating dashboards, performing analysis, and delivering actionable insights (R)
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, dashboard/report creation, and performance optimization (P)
  • Basics of SQL (P)
  • Power Query knowledge (P)
  • Ability to summarize analytical outcomes using PowerPoint and strong visualization techniques (P)
  • Good to have: Power Apps, VBA, Python (P)
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality concepts, including validation, cleansing, and documentation (P)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, define KPIs, and partner with stakeholders to align reporting needs (R)
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance principles and their application in business contexts (P)
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and a drive for execution (R)
  • Attention to detail (R)
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies (R)
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and divisions (R)
