As a Business Experience & Planning Advisor within PNC's Enterprise Architecture Process Team, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ, Denver, CO or Dallas, TX.

The Bus Exp & Plan Advisor is responsible for assessing, prioritizing and implementing Enterprise Architecture process improvement opportunities, with impacts across the Technology organization. This role is wide-ranging and requires planning, analysis, problem-solving, communications and leadership skills. Success includes driving process change management and guiding data-related decisions from strategy through operations.

Preferred Qualifications
• Lean Six Sigma certification
• Clear understanding of enterprise architecture’s purpose, particularly in a highly regulated financial services environment
• Experience in large, complex enterprise environments
• Familiarity with both operational and analytical data activities and metrics

• Maintain current, accurate process documents and job aids as EA evolves.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, consistency, and reuse across the Technology organization.
• Share information to support the maturation of team skills and influence over time.

Core Deliverables:

The Bus Exp & Plan Advisor is accountable for creating, reviewing and maintaining the following deliverables, as applicable to scope and initiative:
• Process flows, job aids
• Assessments of current-state EA processes, including points of integration with other processes and stakeholders (impact assessments)
• Engagement of teams to support process testing and pilots
• Communications plans covering multiple audiences and media
These deliverables are produced iteratively and maintained as part of continuous process improvement efforts.

Role Summary
Process Improvement
• Identifies opportunities, proposes streamlined approaches, gathers feedback, and implements process improvements
• Delivers process changes (including automation as appropriate) and reporting
• Develops process templates and reporting requirements
• Establishes cadence of process improvement reviews, check-ins with stakeholders
Problem-Solving
• Identifies process problems across the architecture domains in Technology
• Collaborates with architects to achieve and confirm operational alignment, monitors outputs and ensures consistent deliverables
• Develops process documents, including flows and job aids, for specific processes
• Completes lessons-learned exercises to ensure that oversights and mistakes aren’t repeated in future process improvement activities
Change Management
• Plans for process changes, including engaging non-architect stakeholders for input and feedback as needed
• Determines audiences impacted by process solutions and ensures change plans cover all stakeholders
• Produces and delivers communications, training, documentation, and FAQs as needed to support process changes
• Maintains centralized repositories for completed content and deliverables, to be shared across teams.

  • Collaborates cross-functional teams to improve business planning methods. Executes key line of business initiatives and growth strategies and programs that will drive line of business objectives.   • Responsible for executing and implementing business planning processes. Helps to designs strategic plans based on forecasts, and provides improvement recommendations.
  • Understands business direction and needs and develops solutions, roadmaps and assessment of potential business impacts. Identifies and executes opportunities that add value to the business and to achieve business goals.
  • Works with key decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergy.
  • Serves as subject matter resource and advocate that influences the implementation of best practices and learning plans that meet business objectives.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $74,750.00 – $132,250.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
