Business Development Manager - LATAM

Uruguay Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Partners Relationship teams, ensuring growth and retention targets are met while maintaining client and partner satisfaction
  • Develop and execute country-specific marketing plans and business development initiatives aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement
  • Manage the departmental budget, ensuring effective use of resources and cost control
  • Support senior management in developing and executing strategic plans
  • Lead and manage department projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
  • Track performance targets and coach team members to maintain high standards
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies within assigned country
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, acting as the primary contact for escalations
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
  • Provide regular reports on progress, challenges, and opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager with a strong track record in scaling businesses
  • Experience in building and leading teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Successful execution of business development strategies aligned with company goals
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and drive regional or multi-departmental cooperation
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics, interpret data, and generate reports for decision-making
  • Strong market awareness, with the ability to track competitor activities and industry trends

Will be a plus

  • Experience in the FinTech industry
  • Being located in Uruguay or willing to work from this region
  • Fluency in Russian or Ukrainian
  • Fluency in Spanish
