Business Development Intern

Job Description Summary

The Business Development Intern will support the Ultrasound Business Development and Partnerships team in assessing the global 3rd-party (3P) ecosystem, managing partnership processes, and enabling cross-functional execution. The intern will play a key role in mapping the 3P landscape in Ultrasound, supporting Kaizen-defined operating processes, and assisting with day-to-day partnership execution. This role provides hands-on exposure to strategy, external innovation, and cross-functional collaboration within GE HealthCare.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

3P Ecosystem & Market Assessment

• Assess the overall 3rd-party (3P) landscape in Ultrasound, including software, AI, workflow, and clinical partners.
• Structure and maintain a 3P ecosystem database including solution areas, maturity, and strategic relevance.
• Support development of an assessment framework to identify priority focus areas for Voluson.

Partnership Process Support

• Support management and maintenance of partnership processes as defined by Kaizen workouts.
• Track partnership milestones across discovery, evaluation, approval, and contracting stages.
• Maintain trackers, dashboards, and documentation to ensure transparency and cadence.

3P-Functional Coordination

• Shadow during 3P partner calls and discussions.
• Capture and distribute meeting minutes, decisions, and action items.
• Track actions and follow up with stakeholders when required.
• Coordinate calls and communication between GE HealthCare teams and 3P partners.

Qualifications:

• Summer Intern, recent graduate or currently pursuing a master’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in business development, partnerships, innovation, or healthcare technology.
• Structured and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
