Position Title: Business Development Executive - Inside Sales
Location: Australia
Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a passion for building and nurturing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, managing client accounts, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Summary
Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and customers.
Generate leads through outbound activity, networking and attending industry events.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
Work with senior Business Development and Account Management professionals to upskill and develop.
Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, sales activities and progress in Salesforce.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs by driving business growth.
Act as a customer advocate; resolve issues with urgency and accountability
Continually improve our clients’ experience
What we are looking for in you
Proven experience in business development, sales or a similar role.
Analytical Skills and Problem Solving to assess client needs and find ways to meet them
Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in CRM software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with lead generation and account management.
Ability to influence decisions
Ability to articulate to senior stakeholders
Strong document-writing skills
Proven track record working to deadlines and time management
