Responsibilities:
Deliver governance, compliance, and operational resilience enablement activities through the Center of Excellence (CoE), supporting BCM, ITSCM, and Third‑Party Risk Management outcomes.
Provide reporting and analytics support, producing dashboards, metrics, and insights for governance forums, management reporting, and resilience oversight.
Perform data integrity monitoring and reconciliation across resilience tools and systems (e.g., BCM tool, CMDB, third‑party inventories), identifying issues and coordinating remediation.
Conduct CMDB application reviews, identifying withdrawn, unauthorised, or incomplete records and coordinating validation and corrective actions with divisional stakeholders.
Maintain third‑party data accuracy, including ongoing MSP flag maintenance and alignment of third‑party records across BCM and TPRM data sources.
Support ENS system migration activities, including data extraction, data management, and ongoing maintenance of ENS templates as migration requirements are confirmed.
Produce BC awareness and competency reporting, including extraction and generation of eLearning/KRI reports from HR systems (e.g., Workday).
Deliver BCM tools uplift initiatives, including analysis of advanced reporting capabilities and identification of opportunities for automation and improved system insights (including future AI‑enabled reporting).
Provide Risk Management support, including preparation of RCSA evidence, data collection, drafting of RCSA working files, and coordination with Line 2 prior to final submission.
Coordinate IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) program maintenance, including metrics management, document and plan maintenance, MBR reporting coordination, and CMDB change tracking.
Support audit and assurance activities, including internal coordination, sourcing of evidence, and tracking of actions.
Assist with exercise and invocation coordination, including support activities for BCM and IT DR exercises, status updates, and post‑exercise reporting.
Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
Experience in roles involving business continuity (e.g. exercising), operational resiliency (e.g. recovery planning), risk management (e.g. RCSA), disaster recovery, data analytics and reporting, and DR and business continuity tools.
Solid exposure in general insurance / finance industry
Some technical knowledge of IT and Disaster Recovery (DR) and the relationship with business continuity
Preferred Work Experience includes:
Experience in delivering and operationalizing programs in business continuity, IT Service Continuity Management and Risk Management
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Understanding of business continuity and DR principles, processes, and methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for identifying risks and developing effective solutions
Excellent communication (written and verbal) is needed to engage with stakeholders and convey complex information clearly.
Ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders is important.
Strong organizational skills are needed to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Preferred Qualifications include:
Experience in some Business Continuity Management System e.g. Fusion RM, Archer BR, Service Now RM and similar tools
Understanding of ISO 22301, ITIL 4 Foundation and other relevant Business Continuity standards and ITSM frameworks
With certifications (e.g. Certification from Business Continuity Institute (BCI) or DRI International (DRII), Business Continuity Planner certified, BC Lead Implementor certified, ISO – 22301 certified)
