Business Analytics Lead Analyst

We’re looking for a dynamic business analytics professional to join our Drug Trend & Formulary team. In this role, you’ll drive impactful initiatives—from modeling new product performance to delivering insightful retrospective reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Finance, Product Management, Operations, and Account Management to turn complex data into actionable strategies.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in reporting and analytics, paired with expertise in product development, client reporting, and performance measurement. You’ll leverage technical skills and business acumen to craft customized, data-driven solutions for diverse information requests. Proficiency in relational databases, data warehouses, claims data, and SQL is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics

    • Develop reports, models, and innovative analytic solutions to support the Supply Chain Product team.
    • Complete ad hoc reporting and analytics for Account Teams, Finance, and Operations by combining business knowledge with technical skills (SAS, SQL).
    • Query data warehouses using available tools, extract and manipulate data, and produce reports for internal and external clients.
    • Ensure timely delivery of reports in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Consultation

    • Partner with Product and Account Management teams to address complex issues and requests.
    • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration

    • Work closely with departments across the organization, including Product Management, Finance, Operations, Pharma, Research, Advanced Analytics, and Knowledge Solutions.
    • Facilitate hand-offs and ensure alignment across multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Project Management & Prioritization

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, negotiate timelines, and prioritize deliverables with stakeholders.
  • Communication

    • Clearly communicate goals, outcomes, and direction to stakeholders.
    • Foster an environment of collaboration and open dialogue.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in analytical, strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Tableau, SAS, and SQL
  • Experience with data extraction and relational databases
  • Customer service orientation
  • Experience with prioritizing workload and meet deadlines


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 77,300 - 128,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
