The Qualitative and Quantitative Insight Partners team is looking for a data savvy lead analyst to help us in our mission to provide personalized, actionable data driven insights for customers, working with cross-functional partners to streamline accessible and affordable care.
The Business Lead Analyst will play an active part of a dynamic team that is designing, developing/building and deploying novel and complex decision models to support several key products. This role blends technical expertise, analytical rigor, and cross‑functional collaboration to enable data‑driven decision making. The Lead Analyst uses ADS (Automated Decisioning Service) to deliver scalable, transparent, and actionable decision logic for business partners.
Responsibilities
Implement and Deploy Decision Modeling by translating business requirements into structured decision frameworks, rule sets and model logic
Use business requirements to design, develop, and maintain decision models using ADS or similar rule‑based / decision automation tools
Conduct exploratory analysis to validate rules, identify patterns, and ensure model robustness
Ensure all models follow best practices for documentation, governance, and version control
Support user acceptance testing, scenario testing, and validation of deployed logic
Troubleshoot model performance issues and implement iterative improvements
Communicate complex modeling concepts in clear, business‑friendly terms
Create and maintain thorough documentation of rule sets, model assumptions, data inputs, and testing results
Adhere to organizational standards for compliance, governance, and audit
Partner with risk, compliance, or quality teams to maintain transparency and explainability of decision logic
Qualifications
2+ years' of experience in analytics, decision modeling, or business rules development
Hands‑on experience with ADS (highly preferred) or other similar decision automation platforms such as: Drools, Blaze Advisor, ODM or Pega
Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets
Intermediate knowledge of Python (highly preferred) or similar scripting languages
Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured analytical solutions
Experience designing rules‑based models in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries
Familiarity with statistical analysis or machine learning concepts
Experience integrating decision models into production workflows or APIs
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
