Business Analytics Advisor (Prospect Analytics ETL) - Remote

Summary

Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Business Analytics assignments/projects. Works in collaboration with business leaders to provide strategic partnership in analytics, identify and prioritize opportunities for impact, develop analytic solutions, leverage data science and technology capabilities, embed analytics-driven processes, operationalize and measure impact, to support decision making and execution based on data, facts and analytical findings across different parts of the organization. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Business Analytics but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard ETL process and reporting for Account teams and Prospects

  • Query data warehouse(s) using variety of tools available

  • Extract data and manipulate into reports for client both internal and external

  • Ability to assist in identification and development of automated solutions for process improvements

  • Develop new reports, models, and analytic solutions with innovative ways to present data in order to support New Sales and Account Management teams.

  • Consult with customers and stakeholders to help understand and interpret data requirements, issues and data requests

  • Collaborate with multiple departments across the company including Sales and Account Management, Finance, Proposals, Pricing, Underwriting, Rebates, Retail Networks and internal Knowledge Solutions areaa

  • Facilitate hand-offs between multiple areas and will be asked to provide SME support on multiple projects/initiativeshis will include project prioritization, timeline tracking and col

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects and initiatives; negotiate timelines/priority with stakeholders projects

  • Effectively communicate goals, outcomes, direction to all stakeholders including internal employees

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' of relevant working experience

  • Experience doing ETL with SQL and Alteryx

  • Knowledge of Python, Tableau and/or SAS EG are pluses

  • Knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, Databricks and other Cloud-based platforms are pluses

  • Experience with developing & automating technical processes

  • Experience in querying data and understanding relational databases

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software

  • Strong business and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Solid customer service, technical, analytical, and communication skills required


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,000 - 160,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
