Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst (BA) to join our Agile development team and play a critical role in translating business strategy into actionable product requirements. This individual will work closely with the Product Owner (PO) and cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements for our cloud-based software solutions. The BA will ensure that the team delivers solutions that meet business objectives, align with customer needs, and adhere to Agile best practices.

Essential Functions

  • Partner with the Product Owner to translate strategic objectives into detailed, prioritized product requirements and user stories.
  • Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis of business processes.
  • Develop clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts (e.g., process flows, wireframes, data models).
  • Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and the Agile development team, ensuring shared understanding of requirements and priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, developers, testers, and other team members to refine requirements during sprints.
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives by providing context and clarity.
  • Conduct impact analysis on proposed changes, enhancements, and new features.
  • Ensure requirements traceability from business strategy through delivery and testing.
  • Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, and assumptions that could affect delivery.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by helping define test cases and validating that requirements are met.
  • Continuously monitor product performance and gather feedback to recommend improvements.
  • Occasional travel required.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong ability to translate business strategy into detailed product requirements and documentation.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, frameworks, and ceremonies.
  • Excellent requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience with process modeling, workflow diagrams, and use case analysis.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead workshops and stakeholder meetings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in requirements management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems, think critically, and recommend solutions.
  • Knowledge of data structures, APIs, and integration concepts is a plus.
  • CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA certification.
  • Domain experience in healthcare
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and wireframing tools.
  • Experience with reporting, analytics, or business intelligence requirements.
  • Work as a true partner to the Product Owner, ensuring business goals are understood and reflected in product delivery.
  • Serve as the voice of the business and end user within the Agile team.
  • Enable the team to deliver high-value solutions quickly and iteratively.

The annual salary for this position is:

$87,800.00 to $100,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
