We are looking Business Analyst will work as part of the Data Privacy & Ethics team within the Data Office at ING Australia. This role is responsible for ensuring business, regulatory and technical requirements are clearly interpreted into language that is easily understood by a various audience. This role will require close engagement with fellow data office team members, internal stakeholders, as well as business SMEs across various domains.
Reporting to the Product Owner – Data Privacy & Ethics this role combines a client focused attitude with analytical skills and result oriented strategic thinking. You will be working with both local regulatory requirements as well as global (as part of the global ING community).

What you’ll do …
Work with key stakeholders to build future-state privacy processes.
Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, and technology teams to define comprehensive requirements.
Define and validate local system, interface, and archiving requirements with business stakeholders.
Partner with Solution Architects to ensure business objectives are met in proposed architecture.
Ensure requirements are ready for development and implement traceability across the lifecycle.
Identify process change impacts and provide input to affected stakeholders.
What we’re looking for…
3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in process analysis, requirements gathering, and functional design.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work across business and IT teams.
Experience in data privacy or data protection and familiarity with risk/regulatory landscape (Australian financial sector highly regarded).
Advanced MS Office skills and proficiency with collaboration tools (Wiki, SharePoint, workflows).
