This intermediate specialist evaluates current or proposed operational activities, digital experiences, and voice of supporter data to analyze and suggest opportunities for improved Supporter Experience. This specialist will work within the Compassion Data Model (CDM) to write and publish views which surface and interpret data that give insight to the reality of our donors' and supporters' experiences. The specialist further works with data sets while leveraging machine learning techniques to inform business decisions.
This specialist leverages experience and training to discover and/or develop data, monitor analytics, contribute to successful communications and quality trends, and educate leadership in areas of opportunity for improvement. Coordinating among various stakeholders, the specialist will lead or serve on project teams to pilot innovation efforts, provide systematic reviews, and promote sustainability of ministry initiatives. At this career level, the incumbent generally works independently on moderately complex business cases or as a team member on larger projects. He or she may coach other specialists.

Analyzes, and models operational, marketing, voice of customer (VOC), sentiment, or other organizational data to analyze the performance of a specified supporter experience.
Applies statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling and business analysis skills to manipulate high volume data from a variety of sources.
Performs data analysis to understand relationships, opportunities to influence outcomes and how to attribute desired outcomes.
Gathers ministry-related information, sorts the statistical data, applying it to different business functions, looking for ways of identifying efficiencies, problem areas, and improvements.
Builds business objectives required for formulating analysis plans and designing questionnaires, tests, and plans, to mine data from available internal and external sources, to perform an actionable analysis and give cogent recommendations. Conducts further tests to ensure that data is valid and consistent with defined needs.
Plans, monitors and coordinates his or her own projects from initiation through completion. This includes developing assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project. Further, the incumbent provides for progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management, to include organizing and directing team members, and ensuring that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time.
May provide expertise to other professionals and support staff in the business analysis discipline.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent education, training and/or certification.
Demonstrated experience writing advanced SQL queries
Demonstrated experience working in Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
Ability to synthesize data, present findings, and make recommendations to key stakeholders.
