This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building structure from ambiguity, and translating analytical insights into business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain analytical and financial models to support a wide range of Customer Success (CS) planning and forecasting needs such as capacity, headcount, revenue, retention, and margin models.
  • Develop scalable frameworks for forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking, ensuring consistency and accuracy across multiple business scenarios.
  • Work with large, complex datasets from Salesforce, internal dashboards, and other CS tools cleaning, reconciling, and structuring them to drive reliable insights.
  • Partner with CS leadership to translate strategic priorities into measurable metrics, projections, and data-backed narratives.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and scenario modeling to support decision-making across areas such as productivity optimization, key CS metric trends, health score development and maintenance, and NPS trend analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales Ops, and Data teams to align on data definitions, model assumptions, and business logic.
  • Build intuitive dashboards and visualizations (in Excel, Sheets, Tableau) to communicate insights clearly to leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring analytical processes and enhance overall data hygiene and forecasting reliability.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of experience in Business Analytics, Financial Modeling, FP&A, or Strategy/Ops roles, ideally in a SaaS or Customer Success environment.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency, adept at complex formulas, pivot tables, scenario modeling, and logical structuring.
  • Demonstrated experience in building bottoms-up financial or operational models from scratch.
  • Strong ability to work with large, unstructured datasets like data cleaning, normalization, and reconciliation across multiple sources.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in investment banking, management consulting, or strategy roles is a strong plus.
