Within the Gold BU – Portfolio Finance team, the French Portfolio Finance team is is responsible for the long-term demand sales forecast, brand performance and revenue growth of Pernod Ricard brands in the cognac, champagne and rosé categories. The Business Analyst - French Portfolio Finance is specialized in the monitoring of A&P investments and the European subsidies process.
Your key missions:
The Business Analyst has a pivotal role between French Portfolio and Gold BU transversal functions, AOC Finance teams, PR Group teams, contributing to both French Portfolio ‘entities’ and French Portfolio ‘brands’ performances and acting as a key stakeholder in all Finance related processes.
Provide (1) an accurate monitoring of A&P investments, (2) support on European subsidies process
Operate as a business partner across all functions, while engaging teams in developing a finance savvy mindset
Support stakeholders in their financial modeling needs
Ensure the reliability and accuracy of French Portfolio financial data
Support the Portfolio Finance team in the long-term demand sales forecast, brand performance and revenue growth topics
Reporting & planning
Drive closing, forecasting and monitoring of A&P investments, supporting key stakeholders with insights and recommendations
Monitor and compare actual performance vs. plans and forecasts and ensures alignment with targets, KPIs and overall company and Group objectives and strategies.
Ensure consistency and reliability of financial data reported to Pernod Ricard
Ad hoc business and financial analysis with recommendations to support top management and other departments’ requirements and initiatives.
Participate to Gold BU Finance projects
Other duties and responsibilities
Responsible for the European subsidies process, including support to markets (finance & marketing teams) and monitoring of the performance
Drive modeling of Tax related process with group tax team and ensure communication with affiliates and internal stakeholders on transfer prices
Drive new initiatives and projects aimed at improving reporting processes and operational efficiency.
Liaise with external auditors for year-end audit.
Help the management and other functions with any specific financial analysis demand.

2-3 years in leading Audit Consulting Firm or 2-3 years as Financial/Business Analyst, if possible, in the FMCG sector
“Figures-oriented analysis” capacity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Organization, anticipation, sense of prioritization and timing
Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles
Ability to link financial performance with commercial and business performance
Capacity to quickly build some forward-looking models
Willingness and ability to leverage new technologies
Team player, enthusiasm, curiosity
Diplomacy but capacity to stand up for his/her positions
Passionate about business partnering and working collaboratively across different teams
You speak fluently French and English
