About your team

The technology service team provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, compliance, finance, legal, and marketing and customer service functions. 

About your role
As a business analyst, you will play a key role working with Canada stakeholders and external team developers, to deliver an end-to-end solution to support client direct trading transactions.

About you

Working with software team that is running in rapid delivery mode,  being able to contribute in below area:
 

  • Lead in business analysis tasks, work with stakeholders to identify, analyze and document project requirements and structure work accordingly.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, product owners, developers, QA, and project managers
  • Participate requirement review sessions, and backlog grooming meetings
  • Produce high quality documentation, including requirements, analysis, processes flows and data mapping.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand current-state challenges, root causes and future state requirements and to develop detailed future-state designs.
  • Communicate effectively and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and managing project tasks and deliverables to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Provide coaching to junior colleagues, fostering learning and development.
     

Qualifications Requried:

  • Fluency in English, including the ability to conduct business conversations and professional documents
  • Degree major in Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in the financial or asset management industry (or related field).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with Agile development methodology
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with counterparts (architects, engineers and other analysts) across geographical locations

2nd shift is expected based on project requirement (Canada project, 1:00 PM -10:00 PM, not everyday shift, depends on project arrangement)
