We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Business Analyst to join our team in Athens (Metamorphosi). In this role, you will support management‑level decision‑making by providing accurate and timely information on product costing, the commercial portfolio and operations business‑case scenarios.
As part of the Finance Department, you will play a critical part in analysing all financial data (actuals, forecasts and budget) so as to provide Management with useful and accurate information for strategic and tactical decision making and contribute to our ongoing success and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Initiatives
Prepare cost‑model analyses for new products, tenders, and projects
Support Business and P&L analysis (actuals, forecast, annual plan/budget, and 3‑year strategic scenarios)
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Consolidate data from all departments to drive Financial, Operations, and Commercial analysis and understanding
Cooperate with Operations, Commercial, and Finance teams to identify trends and uncover areas for improvement in key financial indicators
Compile sales reports across all business units and channels to highlight performance trends and improvement opportunities
Performance Metrics & Accountability
Conduct monthly data analysis to monitor performance and ensure accuracy across financial reporting.
Perform project financial analysis (tenders, new projects) to assess viability, profitability, and alignment with business goals.
Provide timely and accurate insights on product costing, pricing, revenue, and profitability to support management‑level decisions.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Support the business in implementing systems and digitalization initiatives to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
Apply advanced analytical methodologies, including
- Volume, Price, Mix analysis
- Pricing and cost optimization analysis
- Revenue and Profit Bridge analysis
Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, analytical tools, and financial modelling capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
University Degree in Finance or Business Economics or Business Analysis or Business and Mathematics
Postgraduate degree (MSc) in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Operational Research is considered an asset.
Advanced computer skills with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent command of English language
Previous experience in business analysis, either in Greece or abroad, will be considered an advantage.
