Do you enjoy working at the intersection of business and data? At BDR Thermea Group, you’ll help shape how data is used across the organisation - translating business challenges into meaningful insights that support smarter decisions and a more sustainable future.
Your role
As a Business Analyst in our Enterprise Data Analytics team, you work closely with stakeholders across Europe to understand needs, set priorities, and turn them into effective data and reporting solutions. You connect business context with data to ensure the right insights drive decision-making.
You focus on the “why” behind the data – taking ownership of specific domains and acting as a trusted partner who helps teams make smarter use of their data.
Your role is hybrid, based in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. We value flexibility and collaboration: you're encouraged to spend at least two days per week in our office while enjoying the support for your home office set-up and travel costs.
Your team
You’ll be part of our Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA) team within our Group Finance department. The team plays a central role in improving data maturity across the organisation and works closely with stakeholders across multiple European operating companies (OpCos) and central teams within the Group.
We collaborate in a pragmatic, agile way – working from a shared backlog, partnering with our Group Data Engineering team, and supporting each other across projects. Depending on the initiative, you may take the lead or support others – always working together to deliver value to the business.
Your key tasks
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand data needs
• Develop a strong understanding of our business strategy, processes, and systems, and act as an expert on how to analyse these
• Build clear and user-friendly reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Drive projects and work with Data Analysts and BI Developers to build data models and deliver data-driven solutions to the business
• Contribute to cross-functional projects, including large-scale data initiatives (such as enterprise data modelling)
What you bring
• Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar field (typically 3+ years)
• Strong analytical thinking combined with business understanding
• Experience working with stakeholders to translate needs into practical solutions
• Confidence facilitating discussions and aligning across teams
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with international stakeholders
• A structured, proactive approach, with interest in business processes and how data supports them
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to have:
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure Synapse)
• Understanding of key Finance and Accounting concepts and terminology
What we offer
• A permanent contract.
• Next to a solid monetary compensation, receive a strong pension package.
• Benefit from a healthy work-life balance with 36 holiday days per year, based on a full-time contract.
• Take advantage of flexible home-working policies and a home-office budget.
