Job Summary: Serve as the Chief of the Budget and Manpower Division, in the Resources Management Directorate, DeCA Headquarters with responsible for overseeing the manpower management, organization structure, and budgetary (requirements) for the Agency.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 0501 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume must clearly show that you have one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level (or equivalent) by the closing date of this announcement. This experience may have been gained in the private or military sector. Examples of specialized experience includes: Plans, directs, and coordinates difficult and complex programs. Develop, apply, and adjust financial plans and policies to attain the Agency's objectives. Select, develop and supervise a subordinate staff. Applies a high level of sound, independent judgement in solution of financial problems and in the administration of a financial management program. You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Additional Requirements that must be met by the closing date: Physical requirements: No special physical effort or ability is required to do the work. Time-in-grade applies to the promotion of current and former federal employees who hold or have held a permanent GS position in either the competitive or excepted service in the previous 52 weeks, including current employees applying under VEOA. Time after competitive appointment.
