Join us at KBR as a Budget Analyst, where you'll lead financial oversight and analysis for critical government programs, driving accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in budget execution. Your work will have a direct impact on ensuring proper allocation and utilization of funds, shaping the trajectory of our finance and program management operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex business situations, identify the appropriate use of analytical tools, and demonstrate effective due diligence with the analytical processes.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to contract funding, invoicing, time charging, and overall financial management of programs 
  • Review and analyze various reimbursable and/or direct cite documents (MIPR, 1095,7600A/7600B) from initial set-up, extension requests to final close out.
  • Analyze financial document components to include: Line of Accounting data, Appropriation(RDTE, OMA, PA, FMS) Fund type (Economy Act, Project Order), and Performance and Execution criteria (POP/Obligation) for accuracy and validity.
  • Serve as a responsible party for the maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures with associated records within GFEBS and AICIS.
  • Generate and research various status of funds reports detailing commitments, obligations, and disbursements, in relation to in-house government labor, credit card, and contract funding.
  • Monitor directorate funds execution to ensure funds for assigned customer orders are billed and properly collected. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience to include budget analyses using GFEBS and AICIS
  • Active Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years' experience with the Army's Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Time and Attendance (ATAAPS) preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) preferred.
