We are hiring for a Carrier Sales Broker for our team in Emporia, KS!

Being Maersk, we have freight that needs to move to the final mile destination, so with that, we are looking for candidates to come through a robust training program that will give you the skill set, tools, and knowledge on how to be a freight broker in the Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Carrier relations, and act as liaison for the TL sales manager

  • Research and resolve issues regarding freight and billing issues related to shipments

  • Daily communication with customers and vendors

  • Track & trace shipments daily

  • Schedule pick-up &delivery appointments

  • Manage 3 to 5 million dollars in revenue per year

  • No Industry experience required

Requirements:

We are looking for motivated people seeking a career in Supply Chain Management who can adapt to changes, be a team player, learn quickly, and be an instant contributor to the success of the company and client. Computer skills and communication skills are the driving factors for the job requirements.

  • Proven communication skills are a must (written and verbal)

  • Knowledge of truckload transportation terms

  • Verifiable customer service experience, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and vendors

  • Computer experience: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), ability to learn proprietary software & navigate multiple programs

  • Must be able to multitask and function in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly motivated

Pay Range:

$52,000 per year + incentive

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.  The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
