Position Summary: We are hiring a Freight Broker Sales Intern (Outbound SDR Focus) to support our Broker Sales Leader. This role reports to the VP of Sales Operations and will work directly with the broker sales team to generate meetings and support pipeline creation through outbound prospecting.
This is a hands-on sales internship. You will actively participate in outbound calling, account research, and appointment setting while learning how structured B2B fintech sales campaigns are executed.
Conduct outbound calls and emails to targeted freight broker accounts
Set qualified meetings for the Broker Sales Leader
Follow structured call scripts and messaging themes
Log all activity accurately in Salesforce
Maintain disciplined follow-up cadences
Research broker prospects before outreach
Identify key decision-makers within target accounts
Assist in building targeted account lists
Segment prospects by size, region, or vertical focus
Track meetings booked and conversion to opportunities
Help monitor outreach performance metrics (calls, connects, meetings set)
Assist in following up with prospects who have engaged but not scheduled
Support weekly activity and pipeline reporting
Participate in SDR training and call review sessions
Incorporate coaching feedback into outreach efforts
Track personal performance metrics against goals
Contribute ideas for improving messaging and response rates
Experience & Education
Sophomore standing or above currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.

How outbound B2B sales campaigns are structured and measured
The fundamentals of sales funnel conversion tracking

ICP definition and segmentation in a fintech platform
Exposure to Salesforce and performance dashboards
How sales leadership evaluates daily and weekly performance
Non-Negotiable Logistic Requirements:
Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027
Must be able to work onsite five days per week at our Dallas headquarters; housing assistance is not provided
Compensation for this role is $22 per hour
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the internship without current or future employer sponsorship
