Position Overview
Responsible for global intellectual property (IP) infringement detection, cross-border takedown execution and international legal documentation. Key responsibilities include addressing IP infringements across major global e-commerce platforms, social media networks, and regional independent websites (e.g., counterfeit sales, unauthorized distribution, brand misuse, patent infringement, copyright violation) to safeguard the company’s global brand rights and ensure compliance of sales channels worldwide.

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1)Infringement Monitoring & Verification:​
-  Proactively monitor major global and regional e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon Global, eBay, Alibaba Group, Flipkart, Mercado Libre, Shopee, Lazada), international social media networks (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter/X, WeChat, WhatsApp Business), and regional independent websites to identify IP infringements (counterfeit products, unauthorized sales, trademark dilution, patent infringement, copyright piracy, design right violation, etc.).
- Classify infringement leads, verify authenticity.

2)Takedown Execution:​
- Assist in collecting infringement information Collaborate with law firms to remove infringement listings, products or websites, and maintain contact with relevant platforms/organizations to ensure the effective implementation of the relevant measures.
 
3)Legal Documentation:​
- Draft and review English legal documents compliant, including cease-and-desist letters, infringement complaint forms, evidence preservation applications, and supplementary clauses for vendor/distributor contracts (e.g., prohibiting unauthorized sales).​

4)Cross-Border & Local Coordination:​
- Communicate effectively in English with global teams, Indian local vendors, platform legal teams, and Indian IP attorneys to align on takedown strategies, share case updates, and coordinate evidence collection.​
- Liaise with law firms or Intellectual Property Office to address complex infringement cases.​

5)Case Management & Reporting:​
- Maintain detailed case logs (infringement source, action taken, legal basis, outcome) and prepare regular reports on takedown performance, emerging risks, and best practices for the global and local leadership teams.​

Skills & Experience

Experience:
  Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent legal degree from a recognized Indian university, preferred but not mandetory.​
1-3 years of experience in IP enforcement, takedown operations, or corporate legal roles. - - Prior experience handling IP infringement cases for brands, cross-border e-commerce companies, or IP law firms is mandatory.​
Experience addressing unauthorized sales by manufacturers/suppliers or independent website infringements is highly preferred.​
 
Skills​:

📌 Resilience: Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, global environment, adapt to evolving platform rules, and stay updated on changes to international IP laws and enforcement practices.
