About the role

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Brand and Customer Manager (BCM) in our Oncology Business Unit. Being part of the Marketing Team, you will report to the Franchise Marketing Manager and will be responsible to define and implement the marketing and promotional strategies and activities to support the growth of our Oncology portfolio. Furthermore, the BCM works together with Medical Affairs to provide critical customer insights and a coordinated approach to the implementation of promotional and non-promotional field-based activities.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Analyze local market trends and identify commercial opportunities; allocate resources and manage budgets.

  • Develop strategies for major accounts and track, monitor progress and adjust activities accordingly to deliver performance.

  • Understand and articulate the Customer Buying Process into a marketing plan.

  • Determine segmentation strategy based on input from all groups interacting with customers.

  • Provide forecasting and track local initiatives and utilization of local promotion budgets (oversight).

  • Understand the Customer’s channel preferences; develop and implement innovative programs and services in line with Customer needs.

  • Leverage digital and search for new and innovative ways of interacting with Customers.

  • Achieve the optimal channel mix for customer while seeking synergies and efficiencies.

  • Utilize materials developed by the global / regional organizations or develop new ones to personalize the offering.

  • Lead cross functional Brand team and align around regional strategy.

  • Enhance strategic relationship with alliance partners and stakeholders.

  • Lead the development of alliance brand strategic planning, coordination and execution of commercial activities and key performance metrics.

  • Foster an optimal cross functional team collaboration to optimize the alliance business.

  • Align with Medical Affairs and provide input on local medical initiatives.

  • Share and implement best practices across the business unit / affiliation.

  • Collaborate closely with the sales force and ensure that customer and field insights are continuously collected and processed.

  • Independently lead and support pan-tumor marketing projects within the agile multi-indication marketing team.

Skills/Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • University degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, related Health Diploma, or Management.

  • English and German proficiency. French and/or Italian is a plus.

  • Proven experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong analytical skills to create and interpret insights that drive value for patients and oncology communities.

  • Ability to apply strategic thought and planning frameworks to build effective operational plans.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with a growth mindset and a test-and-learn approach.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to synthesize complex data and work in ambiguous environments with adaptable strategies.

  • Experience in developing customer engagement plans and personalizing messaging to drive behavior change.
