Brand Ambassador

We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Hybrid Brand & Ontario Market Ambassador to serve as the face of our Hockey and Lacrosse brands within the assigned territory. This role blends field sales, brand ambassadorship, influencer marketing, and retail execution. The Ambassador will drive product sell-through at retail, build deep relationships with dealers and community influencers, execute activations and events, and generate authentic brand engagement both in-person and digitally.

Role Objective

This role exists to strengthen brand presence at retail and within the local hockey and lacrosse communities, enhance product sell-through, and create authentic consumer advocacy through consistent on-the-ground engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary regional face of the brand, engaging consumers, retail staff, coaches, and associations, and high level players

  • Drive retail sell-through by maintaining strong in-store presence, merchandising product, identifying inventory gaps, and supporting reorder opportunities.

  • Plan, execute, and attend retail activations, demo days, launch events, and on-ice events to educate consumers and staff.

  • Educate retail staff through product knowledge (PK) sessions, feature & benefit training, and EPP engagement.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key dealers, local associations, leagues, schools, coaches, and influential players.

  • Create engaging social and digital content from events and store visits to support both brand and retailer marketing initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams on local campaigns, promotions, and community initiatives.

  • Provide product testing support, market feedback, and competitive insights back to internal product and marketing teams.

  • Support team sales efforts by coaching dealers on how to grow team business and position the brand as their primary supplier.

  • Monitor competitor activity, promotions, and new product launches within the territory.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–3+ years of experience in field sales, brand ambassadorship, or marketing.

  • Proven ability to drive in-store sales, influence consumer purchasing, and build long-term retail relationships.

  • Strong understanding of influencer, experiential, and grassroots marketing.

  • Comfortable creating social media and digital content that aligns with brand guidelines.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

  • Passion for hockey and lacrosse strongly preferred.

  • Bilingual English/French preferred or required depending on territory.

  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory and work evenings/weekends for events when required.
