Primary Function

The Branch Manager (BM) is responsible for maintaining personal loan production at or above minimum loan volume and quality targets. They are responsible for structuring loan application and loan terms, making certain the loan program and pricing structure meets the goals of the client as well as the company. In addition to developing their own production pipeline, the BM is also responsible for carrying out strategic initiatives, sales development, leadership/management of retail branch production, in alignment with corporate targets. The BM is directly responsible for overseeing production goals based on recruiting activities and development of producing Loan Consultants.

Principal Duties:

  • Identifies market opportunities and hires/develops retail Loan Consultants.
  • Identifies new business opportunities for their existing Loan Consultants in order to meet office goals.
  • Develops/executes overall market strategy to increase retail volume, market share and profitability.
  • Supports production office(s) 1 year business plans, consistently monitoring progress versus plan.
  • Collaborates with operations support to ensure customer service, loan quality, and pull through targets are achieved and/or exceeded.
  • Responsible for communication and implementation of company policy and procedures.
  • Holds regular performance discussions for all Loan Consultants and performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Provides regular reporting on retail performance within the assigned market.
  • Presentation of Company Funding Value Proposition to potential business sources.
  • Responsible for producing personal loan volume at or above target expectations.
  • Maintains active recruiting database.
  • Promotes the Company Brand in assigned geography; support efforts that enhance the Brand.
  • Manages the P&L for the branch.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

Required education and experience.

  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major coursework in a related discipline. Equivalent job/education experience may be considered.
  • Experience as a Producing Loan Consultant required, Management experience with Producing Loan Consultant’s preferred.
  • Management experience working with Retail Loan Consultants preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience in mortgage (production), including LOS system experience..

  • Knowledge of mortgage industry, regulatory environment, and financial markets.
  • Strong managerial, organizational, and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated leadership, enthusiasm, and ability to recruit and motivate others.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and build strong working relationships with multiple departments.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.

A good faith estimate of the compensation is:

15,080.00 - 60,000.00

Compensation for this position may also include other elements, including medical, financial, various paid time off benefits, and a bonus based on individual and company performance, variable or annual.

 

Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, location, etc.
