The Branch Banking Market Specialist is responsible for supporting the administrative and clerical needs of assigned Branch Banking Division Executives and Market Leaders. Responsible for increasing the leader’s effectiveness by providing sales process, administrative and onboarding/learning management support. This position will interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure and must remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This position will be responsible for gathering information to prepare reports, assisting with the planning of events, managing and directing certain inquiries, managing and prioritizing meetings for the leader(s) and assisting with the creation of timely communications within the market. This position will also assist with needs of the branch as necessary.Job Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Process Support: Support the assigned Markets with various sales support tasks that grow key relationships/deposits including but not limited to:
Assist Divisional Executive/Market Leader with cadence management, scheduling and required reporting support.
Assist Divisional Executive/Market Leader with preparation for branch coaching activities.
Market visit coordination and support.
Administrative Support: Support the assigned Markets by providing best-in-class administrative support tasks that improve branch banking execution including but not limited to:
Proactively drive Division Executive/Market Leader organization and meet all prescribed deadlines.
Create and deliver high quality written communications on behalf of Division Executive/Market Leader as needed (recognition, newsletters, etc.).
Execution of in-person meetings/events.
Early adoption and promotion of new systems and tools.
Primary resource to Division/Market to help drive the communication, awareness and adherence to key timelines and deliverables for key programs/events.
New Teammate Onboarding/Learning Management Support: Support the assigned Markets with various onboarding and training tasks that grow talent including but not limited to:
Ensure Division/Market completion of teammate onboarding.
Support recruiting/staffing needs as required.
Complete corporate title requests for new Branch Leaders/Assistant Branch Leaders.
Complete access requests for new teammates.
Schedule travel and make payment arrangements for teammates.
Monitor Learning Management System (LMS) to report completion of all assigned teammate learning and compliance training for Division/Market.
Client and Teammate Complaint Resolution: Support the assigned Markets with complaint management tasks that manage risk including but not limited to:
Effective complaint management (client contact, research and resolution if needed).
Review Branch Banking client complaints and assist Market Leaders with research and disposition of client complaints.
Act as primary contact for internal management of teammate and partner issues that need to be monitored and resolved.
Provide weekly reporting as needed and work with Division Executive/Market Leaders to identify trends and opportunities.
Assist Division Executive/Market Leaders with monitoring key performance indicators and engagement as needed (fee refunds, corrective action planning, overtime reporting).
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
Minimum experience required: 3+ Years of administrative support experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2+) years of experience in financial services industry.
Job Competencies:
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, Visio and PowerPoint).
Proven ability to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload for management.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a time constrained environment with patience and a calm demeanor.
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Advanced analytical skills to collect and summarize data for reports.
Demonstrated to be a strategic thinker.
Demonstrated to be a self-starter and self-directed individual.
Physical demands (ADA): The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting.
