What you will do:

  • Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments

  • Receive incoming shipments and check for accuracy

  • Put away product in correct areas in the warehouse efficiently

  • Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment

  • Liaise with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping priorities

  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse and shipping areas

  • Assess the requirements of each customer or contractor job

  • Ensure stock availability and source additional products as needed

  • Complete the order process including pricing, product research, and order entry

  • Offer product knowledge and alternatives when needed (stock or non-stock items)

  • Provide small quotes for urgent contracting jobs

  • Process and verify all orders using system-generated tickets

  • Confirm delivery details and schedule commitments with customers

  • Notify Sales Representatives or Purchasing of low stock or inventory issues

  • Maintain excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships

  • Work overtime as required

What you will bring:

  • High School diploma required; post-secondary education or training in a related field is an asset

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse, counter sales, or similar customer-facing role in the industry

  • Knowledge of Waterworks products is an asset

  • General computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office

  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively

  • Must be dependable, reliable, and safety-conscious

  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification

  • WHMIS and TDG certification are assets

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain trust and resolve issues diplomatically
