Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Act as a trusted finance advisor to senior stakeholders (LT), providing forward‑looking insights and challenging perspectives to improve decision quality
Translate financial and operational data into clear business narratives that support strategic and operational choices
Apply strong business acumen and market understanding to identify value drivers and trade‑offs
Lead complex analyses to identify risks, opportunities, and trends, using scenario modeling and early‑warning indicators
Play a key role in strategic planning, budgeting, and rolling forecast processes, ensuring robust assumptions and forecast accuracy
Support investment and business cases with sound financial evaluation and profitability tracking
Collaborate closely with regional and global finance teams, contributing to international initiatives and best‑practice sharing
Drive simplification and continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting
Essential Requirements:
Solid experience in Business Planning & Analysis, Finance, or Controlling
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to turn data into insight and action
Demonstrated business acumen and confidence partnering with senior stakeholders
Experience in international or matrix environments strongly preferred
Comfort operating in ambiguity and influencing without formal authority
English on fluent level
Desirable Requirements:
Polish language is an advantage
The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. Further details will be provided during the application process.
