About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Bookkeeper that will work closely with the leader of our Client Accounting Services division in the firm’s India office.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working with small- to medium-sized businesses and collaborating with a team in order to provide a streamlined service to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare or assist clients with accounting transaction entry or clean up.
• Pull statements from client systems for transactional needs
• Enter vendor bill details in Bill.com
• Perform bank and credit reconciliations in QuickBooks Online, Sage Intact, and/or Xero
• Prepare payrolls and sales tax returns
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality accounting solutions and exceed client expectations.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards and apply knowledge to client engagements.
• Deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, preferred
• Experience with Sage Intacct & Xero, preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
