Job Description:
Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Boiler Operator at our ECI Co-generation facility located in Westover, MD. The Boiler Operator position, under the direction of a licensed Grade 1 Maryland Licensed Stationary Engineer, monitors, operates controls and repairs machinery and equipment that is isolated from the Supervisor (i.e., turbogenerators, diesel generators and automatic switchgear).Estimated Pay Range:
$60,782.49 - $83, 575.93

Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited High School or a GED equivalency plus three years experience in power plant or propulsion plant operation.
Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
Stationary Engineer License Grade 2 or State of Maryland Stationary Engineer License Grade 3. Individuals holding a State of Maryland Stationary Engineer License Grade 3 must be able to pass the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation State Board of Stationary Engineers Grade 2 examination within four (4) years of appointment.
