Responsibilities:
Repair vehicles in a timely manner with the goal of returning the vehicle to factory specifications
Remove vehicle trim without causing further damage to gain access to the vehicle body
Properly fill depressions with body filler and ensure a quality repair
Remove damaged parts using power tools and/or a cutting torch
Use proper techniques to bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment
Ability to straighten bent vehicle frames using a frame wrack
Grind and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools
Able to make cosmetic repairs and aim headlights
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Prior experience as an automotive technician or body shop technician
Ability to provide a tech school/training completion certificate
The ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to continually increase product knowledge should be evident
A complete and up-to-date set of tools
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
