Description -
We are seeking a Process Engineer to join the Blankets/PIP Engineering team.
In this role, you will lead process improvement initiatives across existing production lines, ensuring stable, high-quality manufacturing performance.
You will drive process and equipment improvements aimed at increasing yield, strengthening process robustness, and reducing COGS. The role also includes supporting the introduction of new products and manufacturing capabilities.
A key aspect of this position is identifying and resolving production issues through structured problem-solving methodologies. This requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Production, Sourcing, Equipment Engineering, Product teams, and R&D to continuously improve processes and enhance product performance.
Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve manufacturing technologies, performance, and cost efficiency
Identify opportunities to increase production capacity and improve yield and product quality
Establish best practices, methodologies, and routines to support stable and efficient manufacturing processes
Conduct process analysis, yield analysis, and risk assessments to identify improvement opportunities
Lead process upgrades and optimization of existing systems and production workflows
Manage improvement initiatives while balancing cost, timeline, and operational constraints
Create and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and technical instructions
Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, vendors, and R&D teams to implement and sustain improvements
B.Sc. in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering). M.Sc. or MBA – an advantage
At least 5 years of experience in process engineering and manufacturing improvement projects
Strong technical and analytical skills
Experience with automation and process control – an advantage
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams
Project management experience – an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hands-on, proactive approach with a positive, can-do attitude
