As our BIM and Documentation Manager, you will be at the forefront of this expansion, shaping the future of Jotun’s infrastructure. In this position, you will collaborate closely with regional teams and support major investment projects worldwide. Your tasks will include:
- Participation in the establishment and further development of BIM standards, drawing standards and standards for technical documentation in the company. Ensure that the standards are internally consistent, effective, and globally fit for purpose.
- Maintain established methods, solutions, concepts, and tools to ensure that they stay relevant and fit for purpose by close cooperation with the regional and local organizations.
- Find and use better tools and methods. Integrate new solutions in investment projects, like Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), laser scanning, digital twin, and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Sharing know-how, giving training and guidance to the network to ensure relevant and efficient implementation and utilization of methods and tools. Create supporting documentation, tools, and templates and answering questions and requests to build competence and alignment.
- Adapt tools, procedures, training material, etc., by working closely with regional and local professionals to ensure that the output is globally applicable and fit for purpose.
- Support project organization with expertise in technical documentation, technical drawings, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Common Data Environments (CDE), document management, and workflows.
- Developing methodology for visualization of concept design of major projects for scope definitions, communications and as the initial source for quantity take-offs to support the early-stage project cost estimation.
- Review of deliveries, such as BIM Project Execution Plan, review and approval workflows, BIM Model files, clash reports, drawings, technical documentation.

Formal requirements
We are looking for a skilled engineer who will contribute with innovations and knowledge in varied design and construction projects.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, BIM Management, or comparable qualification.
- Relevant work experience in document management and BIM in design and construction projects.
- Very good written and spoken English skills.
Preferred and Personal requirements
- Experience in BIM management or BIM coordination.
- User knowledge of common Drawing, BIM and CDE tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Vault, Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)).
- Experience and knowledge from design and construction projects.

- You have expert skills and knowledge in own field and appreciate ongoing professional learning as well as a strong interest in new and emerging technologies.
