Beer Vendor
Beer Vendors are roving sales representatives who serve beer and alcoholic beverages directly to spectators in the stands. They actively engage guests with enthusiasm and product knowledge while ensuring responsible alcohol service in accordance with Legends and AGCO regulations. Beer Vendors carry and maintain product throughout their assigned areas, process electronic payments accurately, and contribute to an energetic, fan-focused atmosphere that enhances the overall game day experience.

The Role
Duties & Responsibilities
- Advertise and sell beer and alcoholic beverages to guests in assigned seating areas
- Carry a beverage tray or keg pack weighing up to 40 lbs and manage inventory during the shift
- Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service when necessary
- Pour beer from cans or portable taps and serve beverages responsibly
- Process electronic payments using handheld POS devices and provide receipts
- Communicate product availability and pricing to guests and answer questions
- Follow Smart Serve guidelines and venue policies for responsible alcohol service
- Maintain records of sales and unsold inventory for reconciliation
- Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with fans
- Assist with stocking and cleaning of portable beverage units before and after events
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service regulations and ability to enforce them
- Physical ability to carry and serve beverages while walking or standing for extended periods
- Salesmanship and customer service skills
- Basic math and POS proficiency
- Strong communication and ability to project voice
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, crowded environment
Knowledge, Education, & Experience
- Previous experience in alcohol service, bartending, or concessions preferred
- Smart Serve certification required
- Food handler certification an asset
- Ability to work flexible schedules and evening events
Physical Demands
- Extensive walking and stair climbing while carrying products and equipment
- Ability to lift and carry beverage trays, coolers, or vendor racks weighing up to 40–50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting to serve guests
- Must work outdoors and indoors, exposed to varying weather and crowd conditions
- Requires clear vision and speech to interact with guests and handle transactions
