What you’ll do
Bagger/ Stacker Operator plays a vital role in operating an automated bagging system, in a fast-paced environment, ensuring proper quality stock rotation.
Operate machines and computer systems to produce animal feed in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding production targets.
Maintain documentation for Food Safety and adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards
Conduct quality checks and perform physical and NIR testing on ingredients and finished products.
Assist in housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks as needed.
Participate in cross-training to effectively perform various roles within the production team.
Other duties as assigned.
Who we’re looking for
Grade 12 or equivalent
Previous experience in a grain facility, mill or manufacturing environment is preferred
Class 5 driver’s license is an asset
Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills with attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
You’ll also need
Full-time position with shift work rotation and overtime as required.
Ability to work shift work is required.
Availability to work in Mon-Fri shift schedule: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 10pm-6am, rotated weekly
Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Ability to regularly bend, twist, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions, including loud sounds and dust.
