Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP, Marketing Cloud Personalization Developer L10 position will function as a Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect with a focus on the Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP) functionality reporting to the Marketing Tools and Technology Leader. The position will be responsible for working closely with Business Analysts to deliver on strategic Health and Wellness business initiatives. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the Marketing Cloud platform and MCP configuration as well as growing adoption within the businesses they support.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Marketing Cloud Personalization beacons, sitemaps, event tracking, templates, personalized campaigns and triggered campaigns.
Develop and implement integrated marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
Customization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions with REST API, AmpScript, and SQL development, including email and Cloudpage template development.
Develop and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations with external systems, data sources, and APIs.
Define and implement data integration strategies for importing and exporting data into/out of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Implement multi-channel strategies including web pages, cloud pages, email and/or SMS.
Work closely with Marketing Cloud Business Analysts to understand requirements and design cohesive solutions to meet business needs.
Create and maintain documentation related to release initiatives.
Partner with agencies to support development and implementation of responsive, dynamic, and personalized email templates and landing pages.
Ensure data quality and maintain data governance standards by building and managing Data Extensions, Segments, and Smart Capture Forms.
Work with Salesforce Admins to facilitate changes in the Salesforce platform to assist with marketing strategies.
Organize, document and lead release management efforts across the platforms.
Work with Campaign Ops teams to consume and process audience lists and update AMPScript in emails as needed.
Implement solutions to ensure and monitor data quality within Salesforce.
Execute Marketing Cloud Admin functions, such as user access, send class/profile maintenance, other admin configuration as needed.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or, In lieu of, 6+ years of progressive business experience
2+ years of Marketing Cloud experience to include:
Configuration of the Marketing Cloud Personalization functionality within Marketing Cloud including:
MCP beacon placement on web pages
Site mapping web pages
Configuring MCP templates on site mapped pages
Building and deploying MCP campaign overlays using the beacon and site mapping, leveraging MCP templates
Configuring MCP segments in Personalization in Marketing Cloud
Building Marketing Cloud journey entry audience segments using MCP segments
Understanding of Integration scenarios and design: Data Architecture.
Hands-on development experience with AMPscript and SQL.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification.
Experience with Marketing Cloud APIs (REST and SOAP) for custom integrations and data manipulation.
Experience with Journey Builder and Automation Studio for creating and managing journeys and automated workflows.
Familiarity with Salesforce platform fundamentals, such as Apex and Visualforce, to facilitate cross-cloud integrations.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex marketing cloud automation and scripting issues.
Experience with data segmentation and audience targeting strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Ability to work collaboratively in a highly cross-functional and fast-paced Agile Scrum team.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving project requirements.
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Prior experience in email deliverability best practices and working with spam filters.
Experience working with Datorama, Tableau or other Marketing Analytics tools.
Strong documentation and training skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
Experience with both Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Data 360.
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
Development experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Admin Certification.
Understanding of Agile project management.
Understanding of data security and privacy best practices.
Ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide actionable insights.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS for supporting email template customization.
Strong understanding of financial card services business processes.
Excellent Presentation, Written and Oral Communication Skills.
Experience leading salesforce integration projects.
Experience leading optimization projects and standard release management.
Experience with Salesforce Data 360
Grade/Level: 10
The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.
