Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP, Health & Wellness Consumer Acquisitions will own the analytics strategy that powers cardholder account growth and loyalty engagement. This role will partner closely with the Health & Wellness Direct to Consumer Marketing and Provider Office Channel teams by providing analytic strategy recommendations, acquisition audience and offer targeting, insights on performance, KPI design and measurement, and creating test & learn strategies to measure investment returns.
Essential Responsibilities:
Create extensive analysis of acquisitions and activation performance trends, provide insightful business performance reporting, and make recommendations.
Acquisitions offer creation and targeting audience recommendations.
Provide actionable insights into audience targeting to maximize acquisitions and cardholder profitability.
Lead and drive business KPI design and measurements, improve accuracy and recommend investment optimization opportunities
Establish a continuous test & learn culture through ongoing assessment and communication of results.
Act as a SME and business consultant, offer analytical and strategic thinking, understand business needs and requirements, be able to translate needs and requirements into data, data architecture, analytical insights and recommendations.
Partner cross-functionally with various stakeholder in a highly matrixed organization, working closely with product, Marketing, Sales, IT, Credit, and Finance, and multiple COE’s
Utilize SAS/SQL to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Leverage visualization tools such as Tableau to share insights.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, OR in lieu of degree, high school diploma and 9+ years analytics experience in credit card/consumer businesses, or credit card risk strategy or retail or analytics
5+ years of progressive work experience including:
4+ years of experience utilizing SAS, SQL, or other analytic tools to perform data mining and complex analyses
2+ years of experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, or BI visualization
Experience synthesizing insights from structured analyses to inform business decisions and communicating with stakeholders in an effective manner
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
Desired Characteristics:
Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics experience.
Experience with providing insights from the analytics specifically supporting marketing analytics.
Experience in sales and/or marketing analytics experience is preferred, or supporting analytics to drive P&L growth
Analytics experience specifically tied to credit card marketing. Credit Card Acquisitions experience most desirable.
Solid understanding of financial service industry financial P&L drivers and key sensitivities with business reporting experience.
Experience synthesizing insights from structured analyses to inform business decisions and communicating with stakeholders in an effective manner
Strong skill in project management, communications, multi-tasking, ability to work independently, and relationship management are keys to success
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to digest and explain complex information to both external and internal clients
Quick learner who can grasp the core needs of the business and rapidly develop solutions
Ability to foster teamwork and work well in a collaborative team and matrixed environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to influence and direct people outside of their reporting structure
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

The salary range for this position is 115,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
