AVP, AI Platforms and Automation

What you'll do:

The AVP, AI Platforms and Automation is accountable for the strategy, delivery, and operation of enterprise AI and automation platforms. This includes predictive, generative, and agentic AI, enterprise automation across Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and RPA, and the supporting MLOps and LLMOps capabilities required to run AI reliably at scale.

This role leads teams responsible for building, operating, and governing AI and automation platforms that deliver measurable business outcomes and move beyond experimentation into production.

AI Platforms and Strategy

  • Define and execute the enterprise strategy for AI platforms spanning predictive, generative, and agentic AI.

  • Establish a clear roadmap for AI capabilities, tools, and reusable patterns aligned to business priorities.

  • Act as a senior AI leader and advisor to technology and business stakeholders.

Agentic AI Infrastructure

  • Own the design and delivery of agentic AI platforms and shared services.

  • Establish standards for agent development, orchestration, integration, and lifecycle management.

  • Ensure platforms are secure, observable, and built for enterprise scale.

MLOps and LLMOps

  • Own the MLOps and LLMOps strategy supporting model and agent lifecycle management.

  • Ensure consistent practices for model training, deployment, versioning, monitoring, retraining, and retirement.

  • Establish controls for prompt management, model evaluation, drift detection, performance monitoring, and cost management.

  • Ensure production reliability, scalability, and operational support for AI systems.

Applied AI Delivery

  • Lead teams delivering AI solutions in partnership with product, engineering, and data teams.

  • Ensure AI initiatives progress from proof-of-concept to stable production use.

  • Set and enforce standards for AI development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Automation Platforms and Delivery

  • Own enterprise automation platforms including Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and RPA.

  • Define the automation strategy, intake, and prioritization model.

  • Lead delivery of automation solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

  • Own operational support and lifecycle management for automation solutions.

People and Leadership

  • Build and lead high-performing teams across AI engineering and automation.

  • Set clear expectations, accountability, and delivery outcomes.

  • Develop talent and establish career paths in applied AI, MLOps, LLMOps, and automation disciplines.

Governance and Risk

  • Embed security, privacy, and responsible AI principles into AI and automation delivery.

  • Partner with security, legal, risk, and data governance teams to ensure compliance.

  • Ensure AI and automation platforms meet enterprise and regulatory requirements.

What you bring:

  • Senior leadership experience delivering AI and automation solutions at enterprise scale.

  • Deep expertise in predictive, generative, and agentic AI.

  • Strong understanding of MLOps and LLMOps practices in production environments.

  • Experience with enterprise automation platforms such as Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and RPA.

  • Proven experience leading engineering and automation teams.

  • Ability to operate effectively with executive and technical audiences.
