Autonomous Driving Applications Research Intern

A Day In The Life:

  • Participate in the team’s daily activities (stand-up call, backlog reviews, spring planning)

  • Work on your specific project (proposal, technical design, coding and testing in simulation)

  • Participate in testing code (including yours) on actual vehicles on our test track.

  • Participate in various overall campus activities.

Potential Areas of Work:

During your internship, you will be working with the team in our simulated and real environment to develop the required software for one of the following projects:

  • Machine Learning Pipeline.

  • Radar and vision-based parking in a tight environment.

  • Multi-sensory localization.

Graduate Areas of Study Under Consideration, But Not Limited To:

  • Engineering disciplines (Robotics, Comp Sci, Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, etc.)

  • Mathematics.

Who We’re Looking for:

  • Currently be pursuing a Master’s, or PhD degree in Core Engineering discipline.

  • Enrolled in a full-time Master’s or Ph.D. degree program in Robotics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline.

  • Familiarity with robotics, controls, perception, and IOT techniques.

  • Familiarity with programming languages (Python, C/C++, etc.) and AI coding tools.

  • GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)

  • Ability to work on site.
