Be part of the Applications Microcontroller Systems Enablement Team based in Guadalajara, Mexico. Responsible for enabling/support General purpose microcontrollers.

Working as a systems enablement engineer, your primary role is to provide efficient support for application specific microprocessors in tight collaboration with the customers, partners, worldwide IC design team and other systems teams for customer applications support. In this context, you will:

• Software / Firmware development
• Demos & reference design creation to enable emerging markets
• Firmware customization to enable large customers to use NXP technology
• Work with the marketing/sales teams to define next generation products
• Participate on NXP product enhancement (New product introduction Process)

Non-Technical Knowledge/Skills

• Team Player
• English

Technical Knowledge/Skills

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/Computer Engineering /Computer Science or Similar. 1 year of experience in the following areas:

• C/C++ programming language.
• Some experience on Embedded Systems: Arm Cortex / RISC-V
• Some experience using embedded software programming & debugging tools.
• RTOS experience (FreeRTOS, Azure, Zephyr, QNX)
• Embedded Software development.

Specific Knowledge/Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering /Computer Science or Similar. 10+ years of experience in the following areas:

• Proficient in C programming language.
• Experience with Embedded Systems: ARM Cortex / RISC-V
• Experience using embedded software programming & debugging tools.
• RTOS experience (FreeRTOS, Azure, Zephyr, QNX)
• Embedded Software development flows
