Job Description

Video Security & Access Control (VS&AC) IT Team is looking for a QA Tester to execute IT priorities related to the adoption and development of Lead to Cash, subscription life cycle and customer support services through Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ), Salesforce Experience Cloud and SAP. In this role, you will work with our IT team and business partners to test and validate technical solutions to help grow, scale and improve Motorola’s business operations and efficiency related to Salesforce CPQ, subscription management and e-commerce.  You will collaborate within IT and with business stakeholders to align on what can be delivered, how and by when. You will rally with your peers around operational efficiency and customer value. You will regularly assess our ability to fulfill commitments, find opportunities and address risks. You must be prepared to manage continuously evolving priorities to make sure the team delivers high value, in line with mutually agreed parameters.

 

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Perform testing on features and functionalities in Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Experience Cloud and SAP.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts and developers to validate the business requirements through functional, system integration, regression and UAT testing.

  • Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Development Teams & Stakeholders to understand system architecture of the product and design for effective test planning.

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing by engaging appropriate business partners, setting realistic timelines for completion, ensuring appropriate access, test data and test cases for User Acceptance Testers. 

  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, test data, and test scripts including development of documentation, prioritization and estimates of work effort.

  • Identify bugs quickly and communicate them clearly and accurately to development teams.

  • Investigate blockers and report them in a timely manner for quick resolution.

  • Utilize JIRA for defect tracking, ensuring accurate documentation and communication of issues.

  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (scrum, refinement, etc.) and other project status meetings as appropriate.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes. 

  • Create and maintain documentation related to new features and enhancements on the Salesforce & SAP platforms (e.g. assisting with user quick reference guides, etc.).

  • Provide additional technical support during upgrades/fixes/deployments.  This could include occasional after-hours support, especially during major system upgrades or possibly quarter-end or year-end periods.

  • Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time to support project deliverables.  There may be additional, related duties as assigned.


Basic Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with testing applications on the Salesforce platform

  • 6+ years of experience in creating, executing and debugging automated test scripts using java based automation frameworks

  • Experience in test methodologies including automation, functional, qualitative and performance against iterative development

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Proven ability to create high-quality and detailed documentation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


 

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Salesforce CPQ Experience

  • Salesforce Experience Cloud 

  • Experience testing customer-facing user interfaces (i.e. e-commerce)

  • Experience testing in SAP is an added bonus

  • SQL, Playwright, Cucumber Java


 

Basic Requirements: 

Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of Salesforce Testing Experience OR 6+ years of Salesforce Testing Experience.
