Position Purpose: Manage the compliance department functions, including but not limited to, periodic monitoring and auditing activities based on established compliance program, policies, and practices to ensure and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory, contractual and legal requirements.
- Direct and oversee the execution of Marketplace audit and monitoring activities aligned to the annual risk‑based audit and monitoring plan.
- Lead a team of associates responsible for conducting audit and monitoring work, providing guidance, coaching, and oversight to ensure consistency, quality, and timeliness of deliverables.
- Apply a risk‑based auditing methodology to assess control design and effectiveness, identify compliance risks, and evaluate adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Review and approve audit scopes, work plans, testing approaches, and final reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and professional standards are met.
- Make informed, independent decisions on moderately complex audit and monitoring matters within the team’s scope, escalating enterprise‑impacting risks as appropriate.
- Identify trends, themes, and root causes across audit and monitoring results and communicate insights to senior leadership.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and tracking of corrective action plans to address audit and monitoring findings and reduce risk.
- Represent the Auditing & Monitoring team in cross‑functional discussions with business partners, Compliance leadership, and other lines of defense.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance audit quality, efficiency, and consistency.
- Facilitate team development through regular one‑on‑ones, feedback, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Surface emerging risks, execution challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership and contribute to strategic planning.
- Lead or sponsor special projects that support compliance program maturity or address emerging risk areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Compliance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in auditing, monitoring, compliance, or risk management within a regulated environment.
- Prior experience leading or overseeing audit and monitoring activities from planning through reporting required.
- People leadership experience required, including oversight of work execution, coaching, and performance management.
- Experience in healthcare, managed care, Marketplace, Medicaid, or Medicare environments.
Pay Range: $87,700.00 - $157,800.00 per year
