Reporting to the Attorney Recruiting Manager in New York, the Attorney Recruiting Assistant will support the New York Attorney Recruiting team with the planning of the summer associate program, law school outreach and engagement events, on-campus, 1L, and 2L law student recruiting, fall associate onboarding, lateral associate recruiting and onboarding, and will support the Attorney Recruiting Manager in all aspects of daily tasks.
This position will reside in the New York office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lateral Recruiting
Maintain applicant tracking system for lateral candidates.
Process candidate materials, schedule lateral interviews and book conference rooms, and collect interviewer evaluations.
Greet and exit candidates during in-person interviews.
Complete lateral onboarding administrative tasks prior to their first day.
Law School Recruiting
Summer Associate Program
Assist Manager with coordination of the summer program, including meeting invitations, tracking attendance, and preparing social events.
Coordinate logistics for social events, including tracking RSVP attendance, confirming venues, and day of event coordination.
Attend all social events, as appropriate.
Assist with work assignment process, collecting evaluation forms, sending reminders, and other tasks as needed.
Help assemble mid-summer and end-of-summer evaluation packets for Recruiting Committee.
Attend summer associate events as appropriate.
Respond to general questions from summer associates and attorneys.
1L, 2L, and On-Campus Recruiting
Assist with the coordination of law school recruiting events, including logistics emails, calendar invitations, and preparation of event materials and swag.
Attend law school recruiting events, as appropriate.
Schedule virtual interviews, as well as post-offer in-person office visits and lunches/dinners.
Prepare and send interview schedules and calendar invitations.
Collect interview evaluation forms, send evaluation reminder emails as needed, and assemble candidate application packets for weekly Recruiting Committee meetings.
Send correspondence to applicants with status update.
Assist with updating and maintaining various recruiting materials/forms.
Assist with updating applicant tracking system of current statuses.
Other Responsibilities
Process expense reimbursements and invoices for lateral and law school recruiting.
Book conference rooms and order catering for interviews, hiring committee meetings and programs, as needed.
Assist with general administration duties.
Be an active participant in attorney recruiting office events.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; and a minimum of one year of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient technical skills, including MS Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. ViRecruit experience is a plus.
Independent, self-starting, and self-motivated.
Superior written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment are a must.
Exceptional organization skills.
Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and balance multiple tasks while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Outstanding judgment and a strong service orientation.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed, including to attend events in the Fall and during our Summer Program, as well as during the high-volume 2L recruiting season- currently January/February.

For positions in New York, NY the salary range for this job posting is: $57,900.00- $92,550.00
The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
