Job Description
Supports the recruiting staff for the football program. This position will assist with film breakdowns using Hudl/XOS. In addition, this position will assist with the collection of data and will help perform statistical analysis. Assist Head Coach with weekly recruiting communicationsThe Sport Program Associate will meet with prospects and families and provide on-campus visits/tours and provide daily communication in building relationships with prospects and their families. Assist the Director of On-Campus Recruiting with planning on-campus visits and itineraries. This position also helps to support with social media channels and works in conjunction with the creative staff. Some additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; administrative work, collection of high school transcripts and other necessary documentation, and responsibility for maintaining and updating recruiting board. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. Preferred minimum years of relevant experience: 4 – 8 years
Desired Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and experience working with athletic recruiting needs. Must have knowledge of NCAA and Big 10 rules. Ability to work effectively and represent the department well with coaches, student athletes and manufacturers representatives, vendors and university departments
