The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Asst CHK Finance Controller plays a critical role to ensure financial statement accuracy, integrity, and compliance in data and process. Take the ownership of financial accounting result and working flow under controls. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to the detail and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
As Asst CHK Finance Controller, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people. Here, you will make an impact by:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage accounting operations to ensure accurate and on time financial month end close.
- Support/review internal and external financial statements, management reports and analysis packages.
- Take responsibility on annual statutory financial statement auditing. Coordinate internal functions and connection with external auditors to ensure report delivery on time.
2. Internal Controls & Compliance
- Understand and comply with internal control policies and procedures. Global Financial Standard (GFS) and SOX control compliance.
- Compliance on local accounting standards (GAAP) . Work with tax team for local tax regulation compliance.
3. Management supporting, financial analysis and continue improvement
- Provide financial statement data analysis per management team requirement and ad-hoc supports.
- Provide insights, optimize controllership team workflows and improve efficiency in RtR workstream.
- Collaborate closely with the outsourced Shared Services provider to ensure delivery of the highest standard of financial services, maintaining accuracy, compliance, and adherence to agreed SLAs and KPIs
4. Special projects financial support
- Assist in the development and execution on accounting policies, financial reporting, internal controls and process alignment.
- Participate in the financial integration and carve-out of financial statement to ensure compliance with group standards and requirements.
- Manage the transition of financial settlement with accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with cross-function to deliver result per needs.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with business finance, tax, Treasury and other workstream like HR, STP, OTC, MTO for financial initiatives.
- Provide financial guidance, processing support and recommendations.
