[What the role is]

Associate/Assistant Director, Procurement (2-Year Contract)

[What you will be working on]

In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, with responsibilities including:

  • Support and advise stakeholders on procurement approaches and requirements, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate sourcing outcomes (e.g., quotations/tenders and clarifications)

  • Review work processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., templates, trackers and standard operating procedures)

  • Coordinate procurement documentation and records to ensure completeness and proper record-keeping (e.g., approval records and supporting procurement documentation

  • Support procurement processes from sourcing to award, including coordinating evaluations, internal clearances and submission write-ups

  • Support other team initiatives where required (e.g., policy/process reviews, knowledge management and business continuity activities)

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with internal stakeholders and suppliers

  • Able to coordinate multiple tasks and timelines, and maintain proper documentation and records

  • Comfortable working with data, trackers and basic analysis to support reporting and process improvement

  • Relevant experience in procurement is preferred, but candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn are welcome

  • Relevant experience in areas such as government procurement, process management or data management and analysis, will be an advantage; candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn are welcome
