This role is a new role part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly. As an Associate, warehouse and distribution operations supporting Outbound Support in Canada, you will be trusted to provide coordination and operational assistance within the warehouse to ensure the accurate and timely flow of goods. Reporting to the Receiving and Outbound Supervisors, this role supports daily execution, system data accuracy, team communication, and inventory integrity. It serves as a key floor-level contact to help maintain efficiency, safety, and alignment with shift priorities, while also contributing to KPI tracking and process improvement initiatives. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Support execution of inbound and outbound workflows by organizing documentation, prioritizing tasks, and staging shipments to meet delivery and pickup schedules.

  • Act as a key support to the Receiving and Outbound Supervisors by helping allocate resources, communicate shift goals, and maintain workflow alignment during high-volume periods or absences.

  • Perform real-time data entry and verify completeness of SAP/WMS transactions for receipts, shipments, and exception logs, supporting system integrity and traceability.

  • Assist in capturing hourly and shift-based productivity metrics, tracking discrepancies, and updating visual management tools such as KPI boards and dashboards.

  • Lead safety huddles, clarify SOPs for associates, and provide buddy training for new hires, reinforcing operational standards and team readiness.

  • Help identify and resolve inventory issues (e.g., bin errors, short-picks, damages), ensuring product integrity and alignment with FIFO and batch requirements.

  • Participate in seasonal initiatives, layout changes, and pilot projects, providing feedback from the floor and ensuring smooth implementation of new processes.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Minimum Education: Post-secondary or equivalent experience      

  • Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience 

  • Preferred Education: University Degree / College Diploma

  • Computer training

  • SAP ERP, Warehousing, Automated Warehouse Management, RF Device.

  • Required Hours: 12:00 – 8:00 PM EDT

Salary Range: $27.59 – $38.75 CAD per hour
