Role Overview
The Associate Vice President/Vice President and CFO LillyDirect will support and report directly to the Group Vice President and CEO, LillyDirect. LillyDirect’s mission is to expand patient access to Lilly’s innovative medicines and digital health solutions through an end-to-end consumer health platform. This role will build, scale, and lead the finance organization needed to execute on that mission — providing the Finance capabilities required for a high-growth digital health platform operating within a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company. This is a high-impact role, and the ideal candidate brings deep strategic finance experience and is comfortable operating in an ambiguous and fast-moving environment while maintaining financial controls. The goals of the role are to drive financial discipline and insight, enable smart capital allocation and partnership decisions, and ensure LillyDirect operates with a mission-focused, innovative, and high-performing culture.
The CFO will serve as a strategic operating partner to the CEO, providing financial insight and analytical rigor to shape LillyDirect’sgrowth strategy, evaluate partnership opportunities across the healthcare ecosystem, and ensure the financial sustainability and accountability of the platform. This leader will also maintain a close collaborative relationship with LillyUSA Finance to ensure alignment on financial planning, reporting, and accounting standards across the enterprise.

Basic Requirements
Additional Skills & Preferences
Education:
MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
Industry Experience:
Finance leadership experience within an ecommerce, healthcare technology company, digital health platform, or health-tech startup/scale-up.
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, particularly in commercial finance, market access, or business unit finance.
Candidates with experience spanning both health-tech and pharma environments are especially valued.
Business Development & Partnerships:
Direct experience leading or supporting commercial deal evaluation in a healthcare or technology context.
Track record of financial due diligence and deal structuring for partnerships, licensing arrangements, or vendor agreements.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
CPA designation or applied accounting and internal controls experience.
Experience with direct-to-consumer or direct-to-patient business models, including e-commerce, subscription, or marketplace economics.
Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, payer contracting).
Experience operating within a large, matrixed corporate environment while maintaining an entrepreneurial and agile operating style.
Strong data analytics orientation with experience leveraging financial technology and business intelligence platforms.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$249,000 - $411,400Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
