Associate - Trade Support, Market Operations

The Role.
You will work with and alongside the traders and sales team to validate and process trades across various products including Interest Rate Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX products, Credit Derivatives and Equities.

You will also ensure the timely allocation of trades, reconciliations and help generate and analyse reports, assist with brokerage payments and escalate any issues when and where necessary.
 

You will also;

• Work closely with other Trade Support team members and stakeholders particularly the Front office to ensure successful administration of trades.

• Help maintain procedures, including the completion of testing & implementation of new processes/procedures

• Keep abreast of the latest market developments in products, processing and confirmations standards

• Update & provide informative management reporting

• Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people
   

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

You will ideally have a background in economics or accounting and will have well-established attention to detail skills. You would have a risk mindset and will be willing to learn and apply this mindset to your work. You will either have an awareness of the Trade Support role, or some understanding of Financial Markets products

You may also have;

• Well-developed relationship building skills to maintain and enhance Trader and Operations relationship.

• Highly tuned risk mindset, with exposure to complex products in highly regulated environments.
